view from semabu hills hotel, nusa penida.
it was a morning just like today. the Sun was out, the sky was bright as my neon dress and the calming sound of the ebbing waves.
i love that semabu hills hotel puts the intricate details of the exterior decor and landscaping of the hotel.
nusa penida is fifteen minutes (15) away from nusa lembongan. you can get a boat for 30,000 rupiah (USD 2) from the yellow bridge (iconic landmark in nusa lembongan).
how else would you have hot latte in semabu hills hotel? 😎
Badung Strait separates Nusa Penida from the Bali Island. On a good day, you can see Mount Agung from Nusa Penida. (it’s Day 8 from the first volcanic ash hiccup of Mount Agung🙁)
While waiting for your room to be ready, you can also opt to immerse yourself in a good book at the cafe. There are big colourful settes in the lounge/cafe area. But watch out for flies if you order snacks! There’s a serious case of flies around. Waste management is not really prioritised here on the island.
after what seemed like ten tortoise years later, we finally got the keys to our room. And it’s the best room in the Hotel 😍 (you be the judge 👩🏻⚖️)
it was raining the whole afternoon when we arrived. finished a book while i was there (checkout my reads on Instagram #zalyazidreads) ♥️
and then there’s the pool 😍 off to the next island.. Bali
